You are cordially invited to attend the 10th Annual “Woodies in the Valley,” hosted by Central Valley Woodie Club, Fri.-Sun., March 11-13 in Visalia.
Friday night from 6-9 p.m. we will have a welcoming woodies-only “cruise night” at our downtown A&W drive-in restaurant. Our woodie car show will be on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the Redwood High School campus, which is located on the corner of W. Main and S. Conyer Streets. We will also take part again this year in Visalia’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which is nearby our show venue.
Our cruise will start immediately following the show, taking us through some great ag country, seeing many beautiful blossoms and some quaint towns along the way. We will also include a snack stop & some “car stuff” (including a return visit to Tom Meleo’s fabulous Chevrolet collection) as well!
For those staying until Sunday, we will be having our famous “Farewell Breakfast” again at the car collection and home of members Brian & Sandy Blain.
As you may know, this is one of the most beautiful times of the year in the Valley, and the average temperature for March is around 55 degrees.
We have negotiated a $99 rate with the Visalia Marriott for WIV. Be sure to mention it when calling 559-636-1111 or use their direct link from the club website listed below. We have also negotiated a $99 rate with Comfort Suites. They offer free breakfast and covered parking. Call them at 559-738-1700 and refer to our event.
